State Of The Game

Community Announcements

Hey all,

I want to tell you about the status of the development that started in February and how things are going now.

The current status:

  • There is a main menu with almost fully functional game settings and save system
  • There is a level in which the anomalies and anomaly events can be developed and tested.
  • 47 anomalies and anomaly events from 9 categories are currently available to the internal testers.
  • The time and anomaly system is functional.

The graphical behavior of the UI elements is not yet at the level I would like it to be. Almost all horror elements are still missing and there is still a lot of work to be done to make the game run as smoothly as I expect it to.

What I'm working on at the moment:

I'm going through every single component of the game and making improvements. This will end up being the task, that will take most of my time. I'm also working on the sound concept and switching to a different renderer to make everything look nicer.

I'm also working on the Discord server to create a way to quickly stay in touch with the testers and interested users. There will be an announcement when it is finished.

What is still missing to start a public play test?

  • A stable Windows & Linux Build
  • Some furniture for the main menu background scene
  • At least 2 "real" levels that can be tested properly
  • The UI has to respond in a way that every function can be accessed intuitively
  • I have to get these steam stats running without hickups
  • lots of little things that catch my eye along the way.

As this project is running alongside my full-time work in the DIY store, I can't currently make any precise predictions about when which milestone will be reached.

However, I will definitely keep you up to date.

I really enjoy working on this project and I hope to have good news for you as soon as possible.

Let me know, if there is something you'd like to know.😸

Until then, have a great time!

Miautier out!
